MUNSON’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“Deadly Class is easily my favorite Image series of the last few years. This series is set in the late 1980’s and tells the tale of a group of kids that attend a High School for Assassins. Written by Rick Remender & drawn by Wes Craig, it is a series for people who want to see a mash up of The Breakfast Club and Battle Royale! Volumes 1-4 are available right now ($9.99-$14.99), and the hardcover Omnibus Vol.1 is 30% off cover price just in time for the holidays!!”

ERIN’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“I’m going to recommend Chew Volume 1 ($9.99). This series is funny, poignant, and dark by turns. It’s also just wrapped up, making it the perfect time to get someone hooked – they’ve got the whole story ahead of them!

JILL’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“Searching for that big, special, one-of-kind gift to put your holiday over-the-top? We’ve got vintage playsets, huge Transformers, and fancy statues… but there’s a certain nostalgia attached to getting an enormous squeezable plushy friend or a bright new (to you!) bike. Put a bow on it, because your holiday shopping is DONE.”

DAVE’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“I’m a sucker for LEGO Minifigs. We’ve got hundreds of them, including all your favorite superheroes and Star Wars characters (starting at $3.99).”

“This app controlled Sphero BB8 ($119.99) is ADORABLE. Definitely one of the coolest Star Wars collectibles released in the last few years.”

dave2

“Eaglemoss figurines are incredibly detailed (and incredibly affordable) mini statues, and we’ve got tons of Marvel and DC characters in stock (starting at $8).”

TRESCHA’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“The Baracuda ($13.95) is a great, mature, nitty gritty read about pirates. Fabulous art!”

“Marvel Mighty Magnets ($4.99-$7.99), and Disney figural key rings ($5.99-$9.99) make great stocking stuffers!”

AARON’S RECOMMENDATIONS

“The Sixth Gun from Oni Press injects an action packed western with the supernatural to make one of my favorite comics of the last 10 years. Snag the first volume for $19.99, and buckle up for shoot outs, mummies, an undead Civil War general, witches, and six pistols that can bring about the end of the world.”

“I love the art on these superhero tumblers! Only $9.99 each. The Bronze Marvel characters are my favorite, but there are some really nice looking modern DC characters, and some kooky cartoons like Space Ghost.”
